This is an original Aladdin 202 Artichoke shade. It has been reproduced in many colors, including a green similar to the original. The best way to tell the original from a reproduction is to look closely at the top rim of the shade. See the red arrow in the picture above, and notice how the tip of the artichoke does not extend into the space at the very top of the rim. On reproduction shades the tip of the artichoke does extend into the area at the very top of the shade. The artichoke will also have a point to it instead of being rounded off like it is on this original. The green color of the original shade will be uniform from the bottom to the top of the shade, while the color of the reproduction shades is not. Pay attention to the details so you aren't paying for your mistake!
